Shawl from lycra

Assalamualaikum and peace everyone.

Alhamdulillah... it's another beautiful day here in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia. How's everyone today? Hopefully all of you are in good health and strong eeman to survive this day.

Shawl or known as 'selendang' in Malay is currently a huge trend among Muslimah in Malaysia. Here and there Muslim women can be seen wearing this type of hijab to cover their upper body.

The shape of the shawl is usually rectangle, comes in different sizes, prints, materials and of courses prices. Most common shawls that are sold in the market either online or not are very sheer but still there are certain shawl makers have taken a good innovative move by producing shawls from more opaque materials such as lycra.

Actually I'm not very fond of lycra. Ever since the instant hijab became the national hijab trend, everywhere in Malaysia you can see women wearing them. They are so easy, like al-amira hijab.

Anyway, back to the lycra shawls, just now I saw many samples of the shawls inside a friend's facebook album. They were produced and marketed by Syazara Eneterprise. Let's have a look at some of their lycra shawls.

You can find more selections at Syazara Enterprise's website at this URL: http://www.mymesra2u.com

A little specification on the shawls:
  • measurements: 64 inches long and 16 inches wide
  • material: high quality 5 star lycra ( I don't know about the quality because I've never wear one)
  • decorated with small swarovski stones randomly on the hijab
  • price at RM40 a piece or USD13
I think this shawls are only available online because I've never seen them around town. So... would anyone be interested?
