Assalamualaikum dan good afternoon everyone.

This is my latest Polyvore project, the 'Love the way you look' abaya style ideas. In between my jobs I use a few minutes to create them inspired from the beautiful abayaat that I've seen on the Net. Here they are.

Belated Photo: Sunday Style

Assalamualaikum.

Every Sunday, I have to wear our Library's uniform and this is mostly how I style my jilbab on that day. Sometimes I just add on a single hijab pins on the shayla from a different colour to make the look not so boring.

Got to go.

Simple Attire for A Cold Day

Assalamualaikum.

Would you wear something like this on a cold day? Think as if you are someone who's always wear jilbab or abaya as your daily outfit.

It's quite cold lately and the rain keeps coming. I wear something like this almost everyday, except my jilbab is a black abaya dan I don't own any gloves.

I feel like buying one pair to cover my cold hands.

What I wore to work today?

Assalamualaikum and good afternoon everyone.

Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for giving me back my healthy body. I was a bit sick since Monday afternoon and was resting at home yesterday. Insyaallah I'm now at my office trying to do some accounts. I am glad that I can come to work. If not I might have a big load of files on my table by this Saturday. Of course I do not want that, so here I am taking a little rest from the spreadsheet.

This morning when I was getting ready, I was looking at my abayaat in the wardrobe and this thought came to my mind, "Let's wear something that can make you feel full of energy. Yes, let's wear something that have red on it." And I choose the red on black abaya aisyah to wear.

Photo was taken on 1st. Oct during Health Carnival.

Well, I don't have time to snap any photo but you can see what I look like from the photo above. Same style but not the same bag. This time I carry another bag, that match my abaya.

My Rorine handbag.

To boost more confidence, I comforted my feet with this comfortable Verse ankle booties.

And here is a Polyvore's set that I've created for today's look.
(opps, sorry. Looks like the internet connection here is not very strong to let me login to my Polyvore account. I'll paste later.)

I love simple but I love being elegant too. It's not for show but for my own personal satisfaction in following the sunnah. Maybe not the boots.

Notes: The first photo is curtsy of Shafa of USM.

For Those Who Like Coloured Abaya

Just an idea for ladies who love wearing coloured abaya or jubah. It has been long since I wear my coloured abaya but I still love looking at muslimah who wear it.

I love that shoes and of course the handbag too.

Regarding the hijab, it would be more appropriate if it is bigger and have a wider coverage of one's upper body.

Would you wear this style?

Let's Go Simple

Today's style idea:

Being simple and modest is what's important. And as I'll be standing most of the time today, wearing a flat shoes is better.

I'll be participating at the Karnival Kesihatan or the Health Carnival for 2 days starting today. For those staying in Kelantan, please visit my stall at no.3 near the Stage.

See you there! Got to go!

My new dream.

Assalamualaikum dear friends and sisters.

If yesterday, I was dreaming about a new boots and I did bought it, today, I'm planning on getting this new abaya.

I sell this abaya at my blogshop ABAYA ELEGAN but I do not own it. Right now, I'm saving money to buy this abaya for Eid-ul-Adha.

It's one of the hot selling item at ABAYA ELEGAN during the fasting month. People bought it to wear during Eid-ul-Fitr.

I think this abaya would be exclusively for special occasions.

What I wore today?

Black + Pink + Baby Blue
My husband and I went to visit his friend because they have not seen one another for quite a long time. As today is the Malaysia Day and the whole country is having public holiday, he thought it would be good to visit some friends.

Anyway, above are my attire: an open front abaya with pink and baby blue diamonte, my new Vincci shoe, a beloved Rorine handbag and a pink pashmina.

I feel so in love today. In love with my dear hubby for being there with me.

Gorgeous! Who made these abayaat?

Assalamualaikum dear friends.

I've borrowed some photos from an FB group selling abaya, called Abaya Collection. They have some pretty gorgeous abaya which are so glamorous for me. However they are beautiful to see. I won't dare wearing them but I know some of us can rock this abaya just like... it's nothing!

Here are some that really caught my eyes.

Would mind sharing your thoughts?

Ideas for styling Layla Abaya

Assalamualaikum dear friends and readers.

It's been a few days after my last post. I was very busy trying to catch up with all the works and also managing my businesses so as usual my attention have to be focused only to one blog, Keluargaku Sayang.

Anyway, it does not mean that I forget about KakChik's Wardrobe. Insyaallah this is my 2nd best blog ever and I love writing here as much as I love writing at the former one.

Ramadhan is going to leave us soon and in day time I am busy with mostly the abaya business, apart from my career at the Library. Alhamdulillah this Ramadhan Abaya Elegan managed to gain many customers and more than half of them bought this abaya:
Layla Abaya
I also have this abaya and love wearing it either to work or sometimes to special events such as weddings and dinners. Anyway, one customer is still new in wearing abaya and she asked for my help to style her.

Huhu, my skill in Polyvore is getting rusty again and I just managed to create this sets:

Dear Harlina, I'm sorry for not able to create a better sets. I'm not very satisfied with this ideas. If you don't like them, insyaallah I'll create some more. Inform me okay.

With that, I'm going to rest now. I want to get up early for Sahur and Qur'an. Ma'assalamah.

My Wedding Abaya

Assalamualaikum and Ramadhan Mubarak.

Just now, one of my FB friends mention that she saw a picture of my wedding abaya. Well, I almost forgot that 2 years ago I've made a post about it. And a few months ago I think our friend, JASMINA wrote something about wanting to see my wedding abaya. Hopefully I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, if anyone still interested to have a look, here are the pictures of my wedding abaya.

The outside layer is mosty green while the inside is milky green.

Some close ups:

I love the embroideries, neat and tidy.
Embroideries for the inner layer.
My own design and my brother's SIL made them for me.
The simple decoration on the sleeves.
Pretty isn't it?

Sorry for the blurry pictures. I have to blow up the original ones to make it bigger. Alhamdulillah this abaya is still in good condition after 8 years. And I'm so glad that I can still fit into this abaya. I just wear it during Eid and sometimes when I attend formal events such as weddings and dinners.

What about you dear friends, do you still have your wedding dress?

Wassalam.

During Ramadhan People Like To Be Modest

But I suggest that be modest all the time because it is better for our imaan.

Assalamualaikum dear friends,

I am participating in another contest called Ramadhan Mubarak and here is my creation.

I hope you'll like it. I have this abaya and wear it regularly to work. The lexus material is very light and soft and also makes me feel cool wearing the abaya. You can order this abaya from ABAYA ELEGAN.

Wassalam.
