I Met Farah Deeba Last Night (editted)

Assalamualaikum & please forgive me everyone. I was in hurry this morning that I wasn't writing anything about this personality. For everyone knowledge, Farah Deeba is a TV9 personality. She's quite a celebrity in Malaysia.

Tall, beautiful, friendly and married is the talkative Farah Deeba. She looks so elegant last night at our 2009 Countdown Ceremony. She was invited by the Kelantan State Government to be a co-motivator with another personality, Ustaz Akil Hay.

Farah so readily pose for me and I've already mention to her about this blog and that I'd like to share her photos with my friends here. Maybe, one day she'll be here with us.

Headscarf Idea

I love this style, you can use so many different scarfs and colours to get lots of great looks. But make sure you cover your neck and ears with another scarf or roll neck if you want to try this out :D

A Niqabi Singer - nATo

Salam Maal Hijrah to all Muslim friends and a very good evening to others.

Just now I was looking for a video on youtube about NATO and surprise, surprise.... I saw this video of a Tajik singer called nATo.

I don't understand her song. Does anyone know? But she sure can sing. And I love her niqab style so much. It's beautiful.

Here's the video.

What do you think? Isn't she looks great? And BTW, I searched about her on wikipedia and I got this info:
"n.A.T.o., Natalya Shevlyakova (Russian: Наталья Шевлякова), is a Russian singer of Russian and Georgian origin. She is known for dressing in traditional Arab style and singing in the languages of Tajik, Persian and Uzbek. The Project was started in 2004 by Russian producer Ivan Shapovalov and was last seen performing in Germany in May 2005. She is an anti-imperialist."
Sorry, I don't know whether she's Muslim or not because lots of the comments in YT were really assumption. That's all.

Support Gaza

Don't hold your silence like so many damned Arabs that have made me so ashamed to be Arabic. Go to any protests in your area, make a blog post or even just wear a black and white eshmagh to show your support for these poor Muslims. The weakest form of emaan is to stop something so haraam and so inhumane by talking but this is all we can do, just don't hold your silence as that is betrayal of your Muslim brothers and sisters.

Highlight 1: Muslimah Wear

Salam my friends. As I've promised to someone before that I'm going to feature or highlight certain online blog that blogs about Muslimah fashion or selling Muslimah clothing items online, so this is it. Previously I've done the first one about HRA Enterprise and today I've chosen this blog, MUSLIMAH WEAR by Farah. I don't think she knows that I'm going to promote her blog... hehehe.

I'm hoping that she'll be okay with this. Ok... let's see what we can find in her online store.

This is the 'main entrance' of her store... quite simple but complete with important infos regarding making online purchases. That's her in the small picture there.

You can find this kind of tudung @ hijab @ jilbab in her store. She called this kind of tudung, Tudung Syria. Maybe they're originated from Syria. It looks easy to wear and the material is light, from the look of it.

A model is wearing one of the tudung. I don't know how long the length of the tudung but to check it out you can just drop by her blog, the link is on the first image on top.

Ah... this one is cute. Children or adult, this Tudung Syria is available for all and the price is reasonable too. Just RM18 a piece and if you convert that into $, I think it's still cheap.

Anyone interested? Do visit her blog.

My Niqab Style

Salam everyone. May Allah give you plenty of happiness and prosperity.

Today, once again someone (maryam) was asking me of how to wear a hijab like me. That is by just using a one piece 60" hijab to make a niqab too.

Well... previously a few friends also asking me to demonstrate but as this is something that's going to be published online, I need to make a wise decision and of course I can't be the model. It's so difficult to use the self-timer on my camera so I just opt not to try it. And if I do, I have to edit the photos, and that I'm not very happy to do.

Insya-Allah, when my niece is here, she'll be my model since her mother is already agreed. Until then, just keep checking for updates.

The Wedding Abaya after 6 Years

I just love my wedding abaya that I personally design. I still wear it to some special functions.

What do you think about it?

I can still fit in to this abaya. Yay! That means I'm still slim.
