I have shopper's block: pink abaya with flip niqab????

When I am done featuring these sets you ladies can have a vote for me on my sidebar. This is option number one: I have always loved the look above. Very simple to pull off. Pink jilbab/abaya and a plain black shayla and two piece flip-niqab. If you were wondering why I am so indecisive about the previous looks featured, this is how I would wear this jilbab http://www.muslimahessentials.com/two-layer-elegant-jilbab-with-embroidered-sleeves-and-shawl-117-p.asp for $18.48 GBP, with a plain black shayla (I have tons from Saudi) and this black flip niqab http://www.sunnahstyle.com/product_info.php?pName=two-piece-tie-back-niqab-black&cName=niqabs-all-niqabs for $10.99 USD. Total cost of outfit for me=$45.31 CAD dollars + shipping. Very affordable. And my Saudi shaylas cost 3 dollars USD straight from Saudi.

by request: Meerah's dusty rose jilbab

Jana over at her blog http://hijabstyle.blogspot.com/2008/08/party-abaya.html put together this look a long time ago. All I've changed from her set is the shoes and I've added a niqab. Meerah, if I find a plainer abaya of a similiar shade I'll edit this post and add it here so keep checking this post.

Sommia abaya £44.95, Alkaram Direct; silk pashmina £14.99, Scarf World; gem clutch bag £12, Debenhams; carved flower ring £7, Dorothy Perkins; flats, Lanvin; Niqab http://www.zainabsboutique.com/brown-3-layer-niqa3.html for $15.99 USD.

A Pink Munaqaba

I want to wear niqab here in the West, but there are a few obstacles in my way of yet. I think it would be good for me, but I don't think people should wear it if they don't understand it or believe in it. (That's not my problem but I thought I'd put that out there). I think pink would be the least threatening colour I could wear until people got used to my transformation.

Pink jilbab/abaya from http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://hijabs.ca/store/images/abaya-dressy-08.JPG&imgrefurl=http://hijabs.ca/store/index.php%3Fmain_page%3Dindex%26cPath%3D3_12&usg=___a70VatJVYdc1iscxEN-EotLo-o=&h=652&w=266&sz=76&hl=en&start=14&um=1&tbnid=p92g_kpuosTuiM:&tbnh=138&tbnw=56&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dlime%2Bgreen%2Bhijab%26hl%3Den%26um%3D1 for $20.00

I often used this site and search through for half niqabs in the colour I want http://www.al-mujalbaba.com/niqaabs.html and then I go to a local store and find a pashmina that matches the exact shade of the niqab. I like matching niqab sets for the most part.

I like this online shop for hijab caps to cover the brows with (since the elastic half niqab won't do the job) http://www.veiledbydesign.com/default.php?cPath=27&sid=1kqc6jak121ovjt5tdflj73no7
